Biography
Dr. Rathan M. Subramaniam is an Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Division of Nuclear Medicine within the Department of Radiology and Radiological Science. He also has appointments in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Oncology. An internationally recognized expert in quantitative molecular imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT), Dr. Subramaniam specializes in diagnostic radiology.He has published nearly 80 peer-reviewed articles, co-edited Novel Imaging Techniques in Neurodegenerative and Movement Disorders, An Issue of PET Clinics, 1e (The Clinics: Radiology) and authored PET/CT and PET/MRI in Oncology: A Practical Guide.A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, Dr. Subramaniam is American Board of Radiology-certified in neuroradiology and diagnostic radiology.
