The Section of Invasive and Interventional Cardiology offers cutting-edge diagnostic tests and nonsurgical interventional treatments for patients with atherosclerosis and congenital heart disease. These therapies include the use of stents, angioplasty, intravascular ultrasound, embolic-protection devices and enhanced external counter pulsation (EECP).
